Invar alloy 36 (UNS K93600 & K93601), a binary nickel-iron alloy containing 36% nickel. Its very low room-temperature thermal expansion coefficient makes it useful for tooling for aerospace composites, standards of length, measuring tapes and gauges, precision components, and pendulum and thermostat rods. It is also used as the low expansion component in bi-metal strip, in cryogenic engineering, and for laser components.

      Waspaloy/UNS N07001

Waspaloy (UNS N07001) is a nickel-base age-hardenable super alloy with excellent high temperature strength and good corrosion resistance, notably to oxidation, at service temperatures up to 1200°F (650°C) for critical rotating applications, and up to 1600°F (870°C) for other, less demanding ,applications. The alloy’s high-temperature strength is derived from its solid solution strengthening elements, molybdenum, cobalt and chromium, and its age hardening elements, aluminum and titanium. Its strength and stability ranges are higher than those typically available for alloy 718.

Alloy 20 stainless steel is a super-austenitic stainless alloy developed for maximum corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid and other aggressive environments not suitable for typical austenitic grades.

Our Alloy 20 steel is a solution for stress corrosion cracking that can occur when stainless steel is introduced to chloride solutions. We supply Alloy 20 steel for a variety of applications and will help in determining the precise amount for your current project. Nickel Alloy 20 is readily fabricated to produce mixing tanks, heat exchangers, process piping, pickling equipment, pumps, valves, fasteners and fittings. Applications for alloy 20 requiring resistance to aqueous corrosion are essentially the same as those for INCOLOY alloy 825.

      Kovar/UNS K94610

Kovar (UNS K94610), a nickel-iron-cobalt alloy containing approximately 29% nickel and 17% cobalt. Its thermal expansion characteristics match those of borosilicate glasses and alumina type ceramics. It is manufactured to a close chemistry range, yielding repeatable properties which make it eminently suitable for glass-to-metal seals in mass production applications, or where reliability is of paramount importance. The magnetic properties of Kovar are governed basically by its composition and by the heat treatment applied.
